7 Essential Tools For Every Bathroom

Taking care of your home has become easier over the last century and it’s only getting better. From the vacuum to the dishwasher, it’s safe to say that doing house chores has become more convenient. One area in particular often takes more work to upkeep, and that’s the bathroom. That’s why these 7 essential tools for every bathroom are so important.

Diffuser

Let’s be honest: everyone goes to the bathroom. This is why having a diffuser can make for a more enjoyable experience for all. Diffusers use essential oils to make an area smell better. Traditional diffusers typically have wooden reeds stuck in a vessel of essential oil, although nowadays, there are electric diffusers that can be plugged in or use batteries. In both styles, the essential oil is released into the air via evaporation.

Shower Drain

There’s nothing like a shower to rejuvenate you, but eventually, the drain will need to be cleaned out. From hair to dirt to other gunk, shower drains should be checked often, which is why a shower drain is the second essential tool for the bathroom. Shower drains can either sit within the drain entrance or right on top. Either way, the drain will catch all the things that normally cause clogs, and it will be simple to dump the hair and dirt right in the trash.

Shower Caddy

Another tool that makes showering a lot more enjoyable is the shower caddy. With a shower caddy, items like shampoo, conditioner, and soap are put into one easy-to-access place. The shower caddy is often hung from the showerhead or can fit neatly into a corner of your shower.

Toothbrush Holder

Good dental hygiene includes brushing your teeth twice a day, which is why a toothbrush holder is the fourth essential bathroom tool. Some toothbrush holders sit on the sink whereas others can be mounted onto the wall or the mirror. The great thing about toothbrush holders nowadays is that they come in a variety of styles and can be personalized to what kind of toothbrush you have (e.g. electric).

Waste Bin With A Lid

After use, items like floss, used tissue, and Q-tips usually get thrown away. Make trash duty painless with a waste bin that has a lid. While there are a lot of bins that do not have lids, you’ll be grateful to have a lid for a variety of reasons. Lids can prevent items from accidentally falling in and keeps smells at bay, just to name a few.

Storage Containers

From body care products to cleaning supplies to other miscellaneous items, bathroom cabinets and drawers can become messy and disorganized. Storage containers are essential for the bathroom because it provides an easy way to sort through things. Items that you use often? Put it in one storage container. Items that are used for cleaning? Put that in another container. There is no “right” way to organize, so you can use the storage containers to fit your aesthetic.

This may not be the most enjoyable chore for most people, but thanks to several new tools, cleaning the toilet bowl has become easier and more convenient. Some cleaners come in gel form, liquid form, and even a tablet. Some come with a scrubbing brush and others clean with just one flush.
