part of an 18th century coaching inn, Wye View is now an elegant
and cosy apartment in an elevated position, commanding beautiful
views of the Wye Valley. During the autumn and winter months,
there are stunning views of the River Wye and the Black Mountains
and you can enjoy views of glorious sunsets from here.

Proprietor, Valerie Green has made every effort to ensure that
guests have all they need to make a visit to Wye View a happy
and comfortable one. The lounge / dining area is elegantly furnished
and is equipped with television, video player DVD player and stereo
and CD player. There is also a beautiful bookcase housing books
and games which guests are welcome to use.

The kitchen is very well equipped with electric cooker, fridge
with freezer compartment, a microwave oven, a washing machine
and all crockery and utensils. Wye view is within easy walking
distance of shops and supermarkets for your supplies, However,
if you don't wish to cook whilst on holiday, there are many pubs,
hotels and restaurants in the town or on the riverside providing
a diverse range of fare.
The
prettily furnished double bedroom has a very comfortable bed and
plenty of hanging and storage space for your belongings. A sofa
bed is available upon request. Just along the entrance hall, the
walls of which are adorned with many fine examples of Valerie's
artwork, is the bathroom, complete with WC, bath and shower over
bath. Wye View is heated by gas central heating.

Wye
View is in a prime location and makes an excellent base if you
are touring the area. The cities of Gloucester and Hereford are
just a short drive away, as is Cheltenham, Goodrich Castle and
the historic market town of Monmouth. Beautiful Symonds Yat is
also a short distance away and you can enjoy all kinds of activities
there, including canoeing and abseiling or visit Yat Rock to view
the Peregrine Falcons. Alternatively take a relaxing river cruise
along the Wye or simply sit back and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Wye
View is open to let all year round and the tariff is £50
per night, two nights minimum. All gas, electricity, bed linen,
including duvets, and towels are included. A visitors permit for
24 hour on road parking is also available upon request.

note that Wye View is non smoking throughout and, regretfully,
your pet cannot be accommodated.
