The Wye Knot Inn (no relation) is set in the beautiful location of Symonds Yat West where proprietors, Anne and Dave Rooke run a family friendly pub and offer you good old fashioned hospitality. The dining room can seat up to 36 and bar snacks are also available. Group bookings are welcome. There are lovely views of the woodland and countryside whilst you relax and enjoy your food or a drink and well behaved doggie friends are welcome in the bar area.

In the bar there is a choice of real Herefordshire ales, including Hereford PA from Wye Valley Brewery. A new guest ale is introduced periodically. If you prefer, a range of coffees and teas or hot chocolate are also available from the bar.

A diverse selection of home cooked dishes are available, from a light lunch ranging from ploughman's and baguette to a three course meal and daily specials reflect the availability of locally produced foods. The main menu is changed frequently.

Monday night is Spice Night at the Wye Knot Inn, where spicy dishes from all over the world are available. Each week a different dish is on offer for £5.95. It is advisable to book for this as spice night is very popular. Wednesday night is Steak Night - two steak meals, dessert and a bottle of house wine and Sunday night is Quiz Night.

Due to the Wye Knot Inn's close proximity to Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth, it is the ideal place to use as a base. Accommodation is very comfortable and homely, with a family room and two double rooms available to let. All rooms are en suite and have television and a refreshment tray.
