ORLES
BARN RESTAURANT WITH ROOMS - ROSS-ON-WYE |
Richard and Kelly Bailey would like to welcome you Orles Barn,
Restaurant with rooms, their lovely five star, two rosette establishment
which is situated just off the A40 at Wilton, Ross-on-Wye. Due
to its location, Orles Barn is ideal for visitors who wish to
explore the local area or who intend to visit nearby Monmouth,
Hereford or Gloucester.
Orles
Barn has an interesting history and has had many commercial uses
in the past, including clog making during the 18th century. Parts
of the building date back to the 14th and 17th centuries and in
the front garden, there is evidence of a building which dates
back to 1180.

The accommodation at Orles Barn comprises five beautifully furnished
guest rooms, all of which are en suite and are equipped with a
television, a hospitality tray and a hair dryer. There is also
a trouser press available for guests to use. Many of the rooms
still feature the original oak beams, reflecting the history of
this lovely building. The Seddington Russet Suite on the ground
floor has its own private sitting room and the Pixie Apple Suite,
which is mainly used as the Bridal Suite boasts a luxurious slipper
bath which is lit with a 'Satrlight' ceiling. Very romantic.
After
a very comfortable night's sleep, you can look forward to one
of Orles Barn's delicious award winning cooked breakfasts, which
are prepared using locally sourced produce. Breakfast is served
between 8am and 9:30am on weekdays and between 8:30 and 9:30am
at weekends. However, if these times do not suit your requirements,
Kelly and Richard are prepared to be reasonably flexible.

Orles
Barn operate two main menus, which offer something to suit most
tastes, from fine dining to the more traditional style of cuisine.
Both menus use locally produced ingredients wherever possible.
The mid week menu includes delicious beef and ale pie, spicy chicken
curry or haddock and spring onion fishcakes, amongst other tasty
options and the traditional Sunday lunch menu is proving to be
very popular amongst locals and visitors alike. If you have any
special dietary requirements, please advise at the time of booking
so that you can be appropriately catered for.
The
menu varies from time to time, according to season and occasional
themed evenings such as Italian nights or pudding nights are held,
along with special wine tasting evenings. Due to the popularity
of these evenings, it is advisable to book early.

a busy day of sight seeing, fishing, canoeing or other pursuit,
why not enjoy a relaxing drink in the bar at Orles Barn? The bar
is usually manned from 6pm, however, you may have a drink sooner,
provided you see a member of staff during their licensing hours.
