4th January 2012 ART SHOPPING FESTIVAL A HUGE SUCCESS

The Association of Ross Traders (ART) held their annual Christmas Shopping Festival on Sunday, 4th December and Ross Market House was very busy with shoppers all keen to find themselves a bargain or unusual Christmas gift. The latest was the third such event hosted by ART and was a huge success. The area was filled with all kinds of stalls; whether people were looking for food and drink or a special present for somebody, there was something their to suit everybody.

Art are keen to attract visitors to Ross-on-Wye and have been holding many events locally such as the great Pancake Race revival, the Georgian Day, which was held in the summer and of course, the Christmas Shopping Festival. Many of the traders have been actively working with Ross-in-Bloom, doing their bit in the town's successful endeavour to win Gold in the Heart of England in Bloom awards. They also sponsored the beautiful Christmas trees in the town centre.

ART's Christmas draw was also very popular with shoppers, four of whom won £250 of ART shopping vouchers after spending a specified amount in the participating local shops.
