At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them

Hundreds of people gathered together at the war memorial on the Prospect on Sunday, 12th November to remember those who gave their lives during the two world wars or serving their country in more recent times. The service began with a large parade of war veterans, sea cadets, army, air cadets and scouts. Town dignitaries and family members of those who died took part in the service, which was led by Reverend Sarah Jones.
