Summer Sounds and Fireworks Spectacular: A Glenn Miller Tribute

Sunday evening at the weekend's 'Summer Sounds Spectacular' saw a nostalgic performance of war time music provided by the Glenn Millet Tribute Orchestra and Sunrise Serenaders as 'The Andrews Sisters'. The Orchestra put every member of the audience 'in the mood' right from the start of the show, which finished with a spectacular fireworks display to music.

For some reason, unknown to myself I get very nervous while photographing concerts, to the point where I feel unwell (trying to keep focused, I guess) and I don't really notice individual people in the audience. I don't think I saw a single person I know whilst I was at this particular event until the very end, when I met Don Wood, who won tickets in the Wyenot News competition. People evidently saw me though and I have been approached a good many times over the past two days by folk who attended this particular concert. Absolutely all of them have told me what a wonderful time they had and how much they enjoyed the evening of nostalgia!

Pictured below are the Glenn Miller Tribute Orchestra and Sunrise Serenaders before and during the show as well as the firework finale.
