Bridstow Primary School Fete

Bridstow Primary School held a Summer Fete on Saturday 25th June. The event was opened at 2 pm by Jill Bowen, who has taught at the school for many years and is retiring in the Summer.

The fete had a medieval theme and many of the children and the staff dressed up for the occasion.

As well as a bouncy castle and many stalls, there were donkeys to ride and some fine displays of both Country and Tudor dancing by the children. A favourite side-show, however, was a Police car which the children were free to explore and the siren was constantly tested. I think it most unlikely that anybody was found to be speeding on the infamous 'Bridstow Crossing' last Saturday afternoon!

All photographs of this event are available for viewing in the gallery.
