Archive Ross-on-Wye

This week I have two photographs from
1957. They are Class 1 and Class 1A at the Cantilupe Road School. The photographs were provided by a Ross person who is in one of the photos but just for the time being does not want to be named as he wants to see if anybody recognizes him, aged six at the time. He knows many of the names of the children but would like to be able to name them all.

If you can name anybody in either photograph, please email and I will publish the names known in a few weeks time. I have to say that there is one person there who is instantly recognizable to me, and I didn't move to Ross-on-Wye until 1976.

Wyenot.com February Visitors

This weeks issue of the news has been a large one to prepare
. As I type this it has long past midnight and I still have a couple of hours work ahead of me building the pages and uploading to the server. My bed is calling now, so I have neither the will nor inclination to analyse the server log in the early hours of this morning. I will publish the February figures next week.

Important: [Please read these terms and conditions before downloading any photograph]
