The dining room at Garth Cottage
|
The
dining room at Garth Cottage also has beautiful views to admire
whilst tucking in to a tasty full English breakfast. This is a
great way to begin the day before going out to explore the many
attractions that the local area has to offer. If you are vegetarian
or have any other special dietary requirements, please advise
at the time of booking so that your needs can be catered for.
Garth
Cottage is 500 feet below the famous Yat Rock, where you may like
go to look at the stunning view of the Wye Valley or watch the
peregrine falcons soaring high over the rocks. There is a canoe
centre just a few yards away from the guest house and there are
river cruises and even trips across to Symonds Yat West via the
rope hand ferry. All this right on the door step.
There
are many pubs and restaurants in Symonds Yat to have a good lunch,
afternoon tea or dinner after working up an appetite from the
day's activities, as well as Garth Cottage's own restaurant. Mark
is an excellent chef and by arrangement will prepare an excellent
three course dinner for guests at an extra cost of £24 per
person.
